Guest Book
Carl , The LORD has used you in my life ; from growing up in Yorba Linda youth power hour, vineyard kindships, to worship music I still enjoy from an old 1981 casette tape . Weary not in well doing: For in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Gal.6:9 GOD's blessings, Glenn Bledsoe.
Love your site and sure do miss all of you at Faith. I am now living in Corona and have found a couple of churches I like. Probably will settle at Northpoint. They are looking for a full time Pastor. Wish it could be you. Bobbi Dee
Carl,
It is unusual for people who trust Jesus to admit they have had mental health problems. Thank you for making a reference to this.
I joined the Vineyard in Canada from the mid-80s, and am now involved in a congregation near Vancouver in British Columbia. What you say about needing a local church to be a "safe place" with regard to people treating each other without partiality is true for me too.
I wish you well on Sunday as you enter your marriage with Christy. May this new beginning bring you both a deeper knowledge of the promised life to come.
Thank you Carl for creating all of this! Very enjoyable. Although I've "dabbled" with the Vineyard & have remained loyal to Friends Church, it's unbelievable how many connections there are & what has come out of YLFC. You bring back so many memories! Keep posting, keep doing the Lord's work. I still can't believe you and Christy are getting married! Oh - I'll have to tell you sometime about my brother Tim Smith & his involvement in the Collville, WA Vineyard - every 6 weeks he runs their celebration service including worship & sometimes teaching. I'm not sure if you know my brother, he was never into Anaheim Vineyard like I was (off and on). But he sure knew all those Troy people back in the early/mid 80's!
Wow Carl, very cool website!
I was reading a lot of your writing on here and was seriously blessed in seeing the things God has done in your life.
The stuff on early worship really brought back some good memories.
Come visit me and Marie sometime will ya?
My wife and I went to the Anaheim Vineyard for a year or so a few years before John Wimber died. That would make 4 states that we attended Vineyard churches in, though for the last couple of years we've been attending a church in another denomination.
Carl, I'd always enjoyed your music, and the times that I heard you speak. I'd wondered from time to time what became of you after you left the Anaheim Vineyard, and never knew until I came across this web site. I understand brokenness and struggles, and I'm glad that you've come to a good measure of peace and healing.
Now that I know about your home on the web, I'll be sure and check in from time to time.
Your web site just keeps getting better and better. Thanks for opening your heart up to we mere mortal souls. You are in my prayers daily.
Hugs, Glenna Edney
Keep up the good work Carl ! We love you.
Thanks for being such a blessing Carl, over the years and now. Great website, keep it up!
Merry Christmas & Happy Birthday
Hey Carl,
I'll second what Lonnie said...when you coming back to AZ man? I'm digging the new site and just saw that you have some messages on there too. Quite a few as a matter of fact. Now I have something to look forward to in listening to them. Hope your Christmas is blessed brother.
Peace!
Keith

God bless you Carl. Thank you.
I've known Carl for over 37 years. He has always been someone I looked up to.
Thanks Carl for being part of my life for so many years. When you walked into my hospital room after my motorcycle traffic collision (10 years ago now), I just lost it.
Like I said back then, "I love you man!!"
Very nice website!
God Bless you!
Carl,
The new site looks great! You have to find a way to get back out here to AZ to visit... there are a bunch of us who are looking forward to seeing you.
Ephesians 1:4-6 (New International Version)
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.
God Love You Carl, what else is there really to say.
Lonnie

Hi,
My mom is Bobbi Dee and she talks about how much you encourage and inspire her. I wanted to say thank you for that, and I hope to meet you in person someday soon.
Carl,
You don't know me. But, I have a great interest of knowing where you are and how are you doing. I came to vineyard movement a generation too late. I joined vineyard in 1998. In fact, the reason that I've joined the vineyard was from a book called "John Wimber, Friends or Foe." After I read the book, I couldn't sleep for weeks. It was so shocking that I knew what you guys had experienced was what the Bible described in the Acts. Several months later, I went to a conference and was filled with Holy Spirit. I joined a Chinese vineyard at LA area and went to Anaheim many times.
All I've heard was the glorious days. I could only imaging what it was like. I often said to the Lord: "why you wouldn't let me know these people 15 years ahead of time. I would give anything to live through what they had gone through." I could only imaging the intensity of the hunger for the Lord, the pouring down of his honey as John described. The change of hearts and lives...
Then, people started to share with me about you. I've always wondering... How were they treating you? Where you are right now? What's your relationship with the Lord? I believe a true measure of a Christian body is assessed by how much mercy and courage that is granted to a hurting member. After seeing this website and your letter, I felt much better that you are doing great. And, the most amazing things is that you still keep a great relationship with God. This gives me great hope. I have been chruchless for a while. I still love Jesus, but I don't think I have the maturity to separate the Lord and ugly side of church. Then, I see you. You are still going strong with the Lord. Thank you so much for being who you are. Your life example exceeds thousand sermons or words.
A grateful brother in Christ
